Investment in math and science education is not only imperative for our nation's future, it is the key to encouraging talent in our local communities. AIT has a special interest in cultivating innovation from the communities where we live and work - two small towns in Nebraska and Ohio. There are significant advantages in the Midwest for young people pursuing advanced degrees and work experience. In fact, the University of Nebraska-Omaha is one of only eight colleges nationally that offers a Master's degree with an aviation specialization.
We actively seek opportunities to meet with students who are interested in engineering and avionics, and our employees have been involved in everything from middle school robotics club to University career fairs.
Although most of our employees have obtained degrees in Engineering and Computer Sciences, this industry offers opportunities for programs ranging from applied mathematics to astronomy.
