AIT's HS1760 (MIL-STD-1760e) as profiled under SAE AS5653 products are built on our Fibre Channel Simulyzer™ technology. Our HS1760 products are a hardware and software solution that provides the unique capability to simulate, test, and verify MIL-STD-1760E high speed weapons systems buses. The HS1760 products will simulate a Network Controller (NC) as well as Network Terminal (NT).
The HS1760 products supports the standard FC-AE-1553 frame formats for command, control, and other data communications as profiled in the SAE AS5653. The product can also be used in SAE AS5725, Miniature Munitions Store Interface (MMSI) Rev. D as well as SAE AS5726 Interface for Micro Munitions (IMM) applications.
An embedded PowerPC runs the processors and the driver software onboard, minimizing host CPU interaction. This enables autonomous operation with minimal interaction to the host CPU during time-critical test and simulation applications. All HS1760 products include full-function device programmer driver software for the most popular operating systems, an application interface supporting development environments, as well as a comprehensive set of source code examples.
