AIT's MIL-STD-1553 Software Development Kit (SDK) provides users with a full suite of MIL-STD-1553 software API's and Applications to support a wide variety of applications and host system platforms. The MIL-STD-1553 SDK includes features that provide support for handling IRIG 106 Chapter 10 formatted data files and network data streams. This includes support for opening, viewing, and analyzing data stored in Chapter 10 archive files. It also includes support for the capture of MIL-STD-1553 data from a Chapter 10 network stream (Ethernet), the generation of an Chapter 10 network stream, and replay of MIL-STD-1553 data stored in Chapter 10 archive files.
All of the Chapter 10 data capture features are also supported in AIT's MIL-STD-1553 C++ API. User applications can monitor data from an IRIG Chapter 10 stream using high level API functions to read data with the same format as the monitored data read from the AIT MIL-STD-1553 Test & Simulation modules.
The MIL-STD-1553 SDK IRIG Chapter 10 data streaming application allows users to stream bus data captured from AIT's MIL-STD-1553 interface modules. The captured data is formatted into an IRIG 106 Chapter 10 (Ethernet) data stream. Data from one or more MIL-STD-1553 busses can be multiplexed into a single stream. The Chapter 10 network data stream can be sent to a single network end point (unicast) or it can be broadcast on the Ethernet LAN allowing multple remote instances of the Flight SimulyzerTM MIL-STD-1553 Analyzer application to capture and display the the streaming bus data.
The Flight Simulyzer MIL-STD-1553 Analyzer also provides support for the replay of MIL-STD-1553 bus data stored in Chapter 10 archive files. Additionally, Chapter 10 archive file data can be imported, viewed, and analyzed.
